About this role Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.

Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities.

Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment.

Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.

This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.

Analyzes class and program needs of the College.

Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.

Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry.

Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications Utilize Canvas Learning Management System and other instructional technologies.

Ability to: Interact positively with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public.

Use of video display terminal

Communicate information orally and in writing

Proofread and check documents for accuracy

Pay Rates: Standard hourly rates vary based on the assigned course level and educational credentials. Must have the ability to work a fluctuating schedule to include evenings and weekends.
