Mechanical Engineer

GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.

Research, plan, design, and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems for testing and production. Designs and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products.

Conducts stress, structural/dynamic, and thermal design testing and analysis relating to packaging of electronic/COTS equipment in multiple military platforms.

Supports the preparation, planning, setup, and execution of Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) (shock and vibration, temperature, humidity, and altitude testing).

Supports the preparation, planning, setup, and execution of Engineering Development Model (EDM) build, qualification, and production.

Experience with 3D CAD modeling.

Experience performing engineering testing in a laboratory environment.

Experience 3D Finite Element Analysis.

Experience with 3D Printing.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline and three or more years of related professional experience.

S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance. Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
