General Diagnostic Radiologist (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor)

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at West Virginia University School of Medicine seeks well‑rounded diagnostic radiologists to join our rapidly expanding academic imaging team. The primary responsibility is to provide general diagnostic imaging coverage for the affiliated Veterans Administration hospital site.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• No call or evenings required.
• 6‑day clinical work week (Mon‑Fri 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
• 8 days off following each week of coverage.

Practice Highlights

Engaging community radiology work with diverse and academically stimulating case mix.

Reasonable daily imaging volumes of 80‑120 total cases (30‑40 CT/MRIs).

Work with a dedicated team of fellowship‑trained radiologists, nurses, and specialized technologists to provide integrated, patient‑centered care.

No IR procedures, PET/nuclear medicine, or mammography required for this opportunity.

Qualifications

MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), board certified/eligible in Radiology.

Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure.

J‑1 visa waiver sponsorship available.

Well‑rounded diagnostic radiology skillset, including basic fluoroscopy.
