Telemetry Nurse, PCU, Telemetry Cardiac

Registered Nurse positions in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units provide specialized bedside care to patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The role involves monitoring patients with complex needs and utilizing advanced telemetry and IV medication skills to ensure optimal outcomes.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and pulmonary patients on a 40-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.

Monitor patient vitals, interpret telemetry, and respond promptly to abnormal rhythms or condition changes.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Utilize equipment including Zoll cardiac monitors, Baxter pumps, and lift devices to support patient needs.

Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR (Cerner system).

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.

Minimum of 2 years of stepdown or progressive care experience.

Proven telemetry experience with familiarity in titratable cardiac IV medications.

Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care skills.
