Paralegal Full-time Position

High volume personal injury law firm seeks a Veterans Disability Paralegal, to work full time Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. Work with and assist attorneys in providing legal services to clients, including legal research, client communications, writing, and related dutiesProviding professional client service under supervision of attorneysThis position requires daily repetitive typing & sitting.Performing assignments in cooperation with other Firm employees, as requiredMaintain the schedule of assigned attorney, as well as scheduling client appointments, hearings and other meetingsDaily written and oral communication with veterans and their families, as well as the Department of Veterans Affairs in a timely mannerFiling, scanning, and copyingScheduling depositions, hearings, mediation, etc.Drafting legal documents including complaints, discovery, motions and subpoenasResponsible for case reviews and preparing file summariesRequesting medical records; maintain professional interaction with doctors’ officesTrain Legal AssistantsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: Familiar with Aderant/Client Profiles a plusProficient in Microsoft OfficeEducation:Equivalent combination of education and experience a plus
