Medical Technologist Opportunity

Utilizes Medical Technologist skills and training to perform tests of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of a patient's medical situations. Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with supervision.

Perform routine, complex or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.

Communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, business office, and medical records) to provide for continuity of patient care and to meet the needs of the customers we serve.

Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed.

Perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.

Bachelor Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
