Full-Time Senior Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join a well-established Sacramento law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, intellectually curious legal professional who takes ownership of their work and enjoys solving complex problems.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and providing substantive support to attorneys across a variety of sophisticated legal matters. While much of the work involves litigation, this position offers exposure to multiple practice areas and the opportunity to play an important role in delivering exceptional client service.
Review, organize, analyze, and manage large volumes of legal documents
Conduct legal and factual research
Support all phases of discovery, including subpoenas and document productions
Cite-check legal authorities
Provide substantive support with case management, trial preparation, and legal projects
5+ years of substantive paralegal or comparable legal support experience

• Strong litigation experience preferred; candidates with significant experience in other complex legal practice areas are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar areas of law and legal procedures through research, critical thinking, and initiative
• Strong technology skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Experience with eDiscovery preferred
• Substantive work across a variety of sophisticated legal matters
