Position: Licensed Practical Nurse -LPN -
Location: Natchitoches, Louisiana
Schedule: PRN Rotation AM/PM, 6a-6p.6p-6a
Pay - Starting hourly $38.00
What You'll Do:
As an LPN in our Correctional Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to inmates. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the physical and mental well-being of our inmate population. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can navigate the unique challenges of healthcare delivery within a correctional setting.

Requirements:

• LPN license in Louisiana or "Compact" Multi-License
• 1+ years of recent nursing experience preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities
Conduct health screenings, assessments, and triage for incoming inmates.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor and document inmate medical histories and vital signs.
Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
Educate and counsel inmates on health-related issues and self-care.

Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
LPN License in State of Assignment
CPR or BLS
English
