JOB TITLE: Day Parking Lot Porter - Full-Time

HOURS: 1st Shift

As our next Parking Lot Porter, you'll play a vital role in keeping commercial properties clean, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you'll drive a company pickup truck to service assigned shopping centers and parking lots, empty trash receptacles, collect litter and debris, and help maintain clean, well-kept outdoor areas that enhance the appearance and safety of each property.

• Safety & Inspection: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards. Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining expected quality and attention to detail.
• Equipment Operation: Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols. Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and securely; Apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.
• Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Immediately escalate opportunities, work issues, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas. This includes being present and prepared to work throughout assigned shifts, and reliably adhering to start times, breaks, and end times.

Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

• Communication & Issue Reporting: Effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates, represent the Company professionally, and promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns.

Constant work outdoors with regular exposure to weather, elements, and traffic; limited exposure to chemicals.

• Continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand-eye coordination throughout the workday.
• Equipment & Tools: Operation of specialized equipment and use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
