Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise individualized therapy protocols to help them reach their personal functional milestones

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure well-rounded, holistic care

Guide Patients and Family Members: Educate patients and their families in therapy techniques to ensure ongoing progress outside the clinical setting

Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on their recovery path

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Encouraged ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required

A sincere passion for helping others and a natural inclination to assist individuals in reaching their utmost independence

Effective and compassionate communication skills with patients and colleagues alike
