Learn more at Synthes, Orthopaedics is recruiting for a U.Downstream Marketing Manager, VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution (Knee) based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (or Warsaw, IN).Drive downstream commercialization for the VELYS Knee portfolio by translating product and platform strategy into U.Downstream Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead downstream plans that accelerate installations and utilization through clear positioning and messaging, launch readiness, field and surgeon enablement, and performance reporting. You will partner closely with R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain, and regional Marketing teams and engage surgeon customers to generate insights that improve adoption and deliver business results.S. downstream execution—building launch plans, creating commercial tools, developing surgeon and field enablement, and monitoring performance to refine tactics. S. downstream plans to accelerate installations and utilization through positioning, messaging, segmentation, and campaign execution.· Launch Readiness & Enablement: Lead global launch playbooks, value messaging, training, and field tools (selling materials, competitive content, and procedural education) to support regional execution.· Voice of Customer & Adoption: Engage surgeon users, key opinion leaders, and surgeons using competitive technologies to identify adoption barriers, refine messaging, and optimize the customer experience as the downstream Brand Management ambassador.· Regional Partnership: Partner with regional marketing and commercial leaders to localize downstream plans, support execution, and share best practices that drive consistent U.Performance Management & Reporting: Monitor KPIs (install base, utilization, funnel/conversion, and launch metrics), synthesize insights, and provide regular downstream business performance reporting to the Downstream Senior Marketing Manager to inform tactical adjustments.QUALIFICATIONSEducation· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.Preferred Experience and Skills· 2-3 years of relevant Marketing/Product Management/Product Introduction experience· Joint Reconstruction experience· Downstream marketing (commercialization, launches, enablement, and performance tracking) experience is highly preferred; Experience supporting society meetings/congresses (planning, presence, and lead capture).· Experience in medical devices or orthopedics.· Ability to monitor, analyze, and report business performance to inform downstream tactics and product strategy.· Experience with financial modeling and commercial GTM models.· Ability to prioritize and successfully lead multiple projects/priorities.· Up to 40% domestic travel and limited international travel, including overnights and occasional weekends.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by federal, state or local law.
