Cost Accountant About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Cost Accountant to support a manufacturing-focused accounting team during a transition period. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining accurate cost data and supporting day-to-day operations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, analyzing costs, and making an immediate impact .

Key Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant
Support cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment
Assist with inventory valuation, cost tracking, and variance analysis
Partner with operations to ensure accurate production cost reporting
Contribute to month-end close , including reconciliations related to inventory and cost
Help maintain and update standard costs
Qualifications of the Cost Accountant
2-5+ years of accounting experience ( cost or inventory experience preferred )

• Exposure to manufacturing, inventory, or operational accounting
• Understanding of cost tracking, inventory, and variances
• Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday
• Experience with standard costing or bill of materials (BOM)

Exposure to fixed assets or plant accounting
ERP system experience (Oracle or similar a plus)
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to collaborate with both finance and operations teams
