Education Requirements: Graduate of a school of Professional Nursing. Licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing.

Must use holistic approach to nursing care. Must demonstrate competency in basic nursing skills. Must possess the ability to learn basic computer skills. Good physical and mental health. Must possess visual acuity with corrective lenses to read printed material and visualize patients to the degree that changes in color or respirations can be detected; Must demonstrate the ability to wear properly fitting respiratory protective mask for periods of time without limitations. Able to work under supervision or independently as directed by the situation. Supervises: Care of a group of patients and nursing personnel assigned to the team.
Supervised By: Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse
Performance Standards: Makes a conscientious effort to help maintain a clean, safe and secure environment. Customer Service Interpersonal skills Demonstrates pride in the organization. Registered Nurse Core Utilizes the nursing process in planning or providing care for patients/residents ages (adolescent, adult and geriatric). Maintains safe environment for patients/residents, co-workers and self. Med/Surg RN Core Utilizes the nursing process in planning or providing care for patients ages neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Registered Nurse (MCH) Demonstrates effective responsibilities of charge nurse duties. Attends mandatory skills & equipment workshop annually.
