PTA - Physical Therapy

Role: Implements physical therapy treatment programs under supervision, serving patients across all ages according to established practices.

Responsibilities: Self-assess, seek ongoing education, and share knowledge with colleagues.

Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.

Question logically, analyze data, and develop solutions to problems.

Assist in student training, complete assessments, and support clinical education.

Foster teamwork, listen actively, and promote positive relationships.

Gather data, monitor patient progress, and ensure therapy remains within patient capabilities.

Prepare documentation, assist with discharge planning, and promote evidence-based practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.

Preferred: One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant.

Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in good standing with the relevant regulatory body.

Current BLS certification; must obtain within 90 days if not already certified.
