Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district‑approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
Pay Range and Benefits
Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + 10.5% - 18% local supplement

Qualifications
18 semester hours of relevant coursework
2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post‑graduate coursework)
Ability to produce an official, degree‑dated transcript from an accredited university
Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
Education Requirements
Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree
Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1‑year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License.
