Overview Steves & Sons, a 160-year-old family-owned door manufacturer, seeks a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of materials and services for our company. We're looking for a strategic thinker with a proven background in purchasing and supply chain management.

Job Summary We're seeking a Purchasing Manager to develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of materials. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies and processes

Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and materials

Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective purchasing strategies

Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of materials

Develop and maintain purchasing metrics and reports

Leadership Qualities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Data-driven approach to decision-making

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role

Solid understanding of purchasing principles and practices

Experience with purchasing software and systems (e.g., ERP, procurement platforms)
