Description of Responsibilities

Conduct various ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each aspect thoughtfully and empathetically
Work closely with radiologists and referring practitioners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
Meticulously document procedures and uphold patient records within the electronic medical system
Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required

Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
