Family Medicine / Obstetrics (FM/OB) Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics experience to join a community-based practice in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina . This opportunity allows the physician to provide comprehensive family medicine care while incorporating obstetrical services in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The FM/OB Physician will deliver full-scope family medicine, including prenatal care, obstetric deliveries, and ongoing primary care for patients across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient family medicine care to patients of all ages

Manage prenatal care and perform obstetric deliveries

Provide postpartum and newborn care

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, nursing staff, and specialists

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

Completion of obstetrics training or fellowship preferred

Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
