Are you passionate about cooking and ready to bring your skills to a kitchen that makes a difference? Arc Broward is looking for a Kitchen Steward/Prep Cook to join our team!
The Kitchen Steward position is primarily responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and supplies within the Arc Culinary department.
Arc Broward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of people with developmental disabilities and other life challenges.

We provide top‑notch training through our Arc Educates program.
About the Role: Kitchen Steward
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, floors, etc.
Stock all supplies as directed by Executive Chef, Sous Chef and cook positions.
Maintain a pace of work, which allows supplies and equipment to be cleaned and put in their proper place, which meets business demands.
Understand the proper use of chemicals.

Experience as a steward or in a commercial kitchen preferred.
Effective communication skills with verbal and written English fluency is required.
