Night Shift - Emergency Department (ER) RN

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Nights - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week)

The Registered Nurse holds accountability for delivering high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Room by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The role demands a demonstration of critical thinking skills and scientific judgment, alongside proactive leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care within the Emergency Department.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients.

Utilize the Nursing Process to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.

Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.

Provide direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.

2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Experience with Cerner EMR is required.

Charge nurse experience is preferred (additional compensation available).

MUST be willing to float to other departments as needed.
