In this role, you will deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography services in an outpatient imaging setting, supporting ERMI's commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care.About the RoleAs a Mammography Technologist, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, high-quality breast imaging while providing a supportive experience for patients. This is a hands-on clinical role in a collaborative outpatient environment where technologists work closely with radiologists and clinical leadership to maintain the highest standards of care.Prepare and position patients for screening and diagnostic mammography proceduresExplain procedures clearly to reduce patient anxiety and ensure cooperationOperate mammography equipment and determine appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality imagesPractice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staffPerform imaging on modern Hologic mammography systems, including 3D tomosynthesis.Review images for proper identification, positioning, and quality control prior to radiologist interpretationPerform Quality Assurance and quality control testing as required by MQSAAssist with MQSA inspections and maintain compliance documentation in accordance with MQSA, FDA, and New York State regulationsPerform routine equipment checks; Prepare images and documentation for radiologist review.Collaborate with radiologists, sonographers, and leadership to support efficient patient flow.Our mammography technologists are valued members of the care team and work in a patient-centered culture that prioritizes quality over volume.Beautiful, modern facilityClose collaboration with engaged women's imaging radiologistsGrowth opportunities, including cross-training into CT and MRITeam-based culture with strong supportWeekday schedule tailored to your preference: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, with flexibility to accommodate a four-day schedule.Pay rate $55–$58, based on experienceSign On BonusMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off + paid holidaysAbout YouYou'd be a great fit if you bring the following:ARRT certification in Radiography (RT) with Mammography specialty certification (ARRT-MG)Active New York State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license with injection, in good standingExperience performing both screening and diagnostic mammographyMQSA/FDA-compliant mammography credentials including current CME and documented case volumeActive BLS certificationStrong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered careAbility to complete two weeks in-person training (paid) at our Manhattan location prior to transitioning to the White Plains siteCOVID-19 Vaccination requiredThe following experience is a plus:
