As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities — both at home and in their community — helping them live as independently as possible.

Reading, understanding and following the client’s Individual Support Plan (ISP), and reporting back to the IDD Program Specialist

Supporting individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care (i.e. grooming, hygiene etc.), Encouraging participation in social and community activities – shopping, social events etc.

Helping people achieve personal goals and celebrating progress

Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress

Communicating with team members to ensure consistent, quality support

High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a state approved training program; At least 18 years old

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, inspection and registration

Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities

New Hire Milestone Bonus: The $1,000 new hire milestone bonus is valid for caregivers that start on 6/22/2026 or later. This new hire bonus is paid in 8 increments, with the total accumulated $1,000 paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. Caregivers must be active and must use electronic visit verification for hours to accumulate toward payout milestones. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus. Data Security and Privacy Statement
