Head of Project Management

The Project Manager is an individual contributor position that supports key projects across Global External Affairs (GEA). Responsibilities include building and managing project work plan, dashboard, timeline, approval process, schedules, vendor contracts, budget, and resources for GEA projects. The Project Manager is responsible for driving each project, ensuring deadlines are established and met, appropriate people are engaged, and needed reviews are completed all within budget.

USP prioritizes scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure health systems worldwide can rely on strong, tested, and globally relevant quality standards.

Partners with GEA leadership and colleagues to drive division‑led projects to success.

Identifies and leverages the right tools and processes for each project.

Identifies, manages, and resolves challenges, escalating as needed.

Drives project timeline, ensuring deadlines are communicated and met.

Supports activities related to the Convention Membership including Member communications, data, and meetings.

Bachelor’s degree (or five years of experience in a project management role considered in lieu of a degree).

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.

High level of proficiency with office technologies, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe.

Ability to effectively prioritize and efficiently manage several projects simultaneously.

Experience with Salesforce.

PMP certification.

Experience managing executives - schedules, deliverables.
