Urology-Academic (Physician )

Brown University Health, the largest healthcare provider in Rhode Island, has an exciting opportunity for a board certified or eligible general urologist to join our academically focused team in Providence or one of our community-based practices in Southeastern Massachusetts. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care to patients with a wide range of urologic disorders. In Rhode Island you will join 19 other urologists, 4 urologic cancer specialists and 7 experienced advanced practice providers
If you prefer to work in Massachusetts, it will be in a non-academic position with a smaller group & greater autonomy
The department has 6+ DaVinci robots and full, cooperative relations with interventional radiology
3 to 3 1/2 days clinic, one day OR, 1/2-day clinical admin time
Academic appointment to Brown
Triaged call in RI (with residents, fellows and APPs taking first call) 3-4 weekends per year and on average 3 weeknights per month
