Job Title: General Production Worker
This role supports daily production operations by safely handling materials, assisting with site preparation, and performing a variety of general labor tasks. Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist with site preparation, including setting up work areas, staging materials, and assembling basic equipment.
Support daily setup and cleanup activities to ensure production areas remain orderly and ready for use.
Support production and assembly tasks as needed to keep workflows running smoothly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping and safety practices.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while handling materials and operating tools.
Experience in production, general labor, assembly, general production, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or landscaping is a plus.
Proficiency in material handling, including moving, loading, and organizing materials and equipment.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with others on-site.
Reliability and willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks throughout the shift.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive environment such as warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or landscaping is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting with changing priorities.
Attention to detail when handling materials, tools, and equipment.
You will join a hands-on, collaborative environment where your contributions directly support smooth production operations. The role offers the opportunity to build practical skills in material handling, tool use, and general production while working alongside experienced team members. This position is based in a production setting that involves regular physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials up to 50 pounds or more. You will work around hand tools and basic power tools, as well as various production equipment, and will be expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective gear as required. Shifts and hours may vary based on operational needs, and the workspace emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
