Commercial Roofing Operations ManagerFlynn Group of Companies is seeking a Roofing Operations Manager where the focus is on commercial roofing. Secure follow-up work with existing clients based on past performance.Lead and delegate project teams by providing guidance and direction.Qualify bids and collaborate with the Estimating team through Bid reviewsOversee performance of projects to ensure safety, quality, profitability and timely execution of work.Provide supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports including performance reviews.Ensure effective scheduling of all items/actions required to complete a project on time and on budget.Establish and maintain client relationships and develop a high level of trust and credibility with clients, alliance partners, subcontractors and project teams.Meet with the branch management team to review project financials and overall progress of division. Identify any projects that may be in trouble and resolution for getting back on track.Report identified potential business risk elements and design and implement mitigation efforts.Exercise global decision making by considering other departments within the company such as project management, sales, estimating, accounting, purchasing, etc.Skills and QualificationsBilingual in Spanish is a Plus10 or more years of experience in Commercial Roofing industry preferredStrong people skills including abilities to teach, coach and mentorB.S. degree in Business, Construction Management or related educational field preferredStrong knowledge of commercial roofing systems requiredKnowledge of sheet metal work is an assetKnowledge of roofing systems required (EPDM, TPO, PVC, etc.)Accounting knowledge requiredEngineering and/or drafting experience a plusComputer proficiency in (Bluebeam and MS Suite) and ability to learn new Project management software's as well as proprietary Flynn software.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, while providing exemplary customer service.Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building's outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
