Hospital ICU Registered Nurse - RN - PRN Night Shift

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

REQUIRED: CABG, Valve post op, Impella, IABP, CRRT. Targeted patient ratios are 1:2 for Critical Care/ 1:3 for Intermediate level patients on unit. Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN required. Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License 2 year exp EPIC exp required. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

Knowledge/Skills: 16-bed ICU unit. 310-bed hospital Designated Neuro Unit for Ischemic strokes receiving TPA. COVID positive patients CRRT, 24-hour EEG, Hypothermia post Cardiac Arrest, Prone patients AMC is a Level III Trauma Center They provide Family Centered Care and do not restrict visiting hours. Customer Service is a top priority. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.

Special Requirements Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract. Managers review all applications. Available start date, RTO, and any schedule requests must be listed on front page of application at time of submission. Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 14 days allowed per contract. Local travelers are not accepted. Licensing Requirements: Any active state RN license or compact license is accepted for submission. Floating Candidates may float within hospital or to another Premier hospital nearby please refer to the job description for floating details. It is common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and based on census. Charting Exp Required Epic is required for all inpatient nursing roles and most Allied roles. Any previous PERM/PRN staff employee of Premier Health Partners or prior agency not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before applying as a traveler.
