Audiologist - Audiology Clinic

Job Overview Provide position‑specific audiological services including consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and ongoing habilitative and rehabilitative treatment, services, and education to pediatric patients and families at Primary Children’s Hospital, Riverton, Utah. This weekday role offers a flexible four 10‑hour shift schedule and can be performed in inpatient or outpatient environments.

Essential Functions Provide audiological services, including evidence‑based evaluations, interventions, and consultations for the pediatric population.

Collaborate and educate patients, families, educational contacts, and other healthcare providers for continued care.

Stay current with audiology professional developments and literature.

Support program and department development as assigned.

Follow all legal, HIPAA, ethical and compliance guidelines related to an audiology practice.

Support student and university outreach programs after two years of experience and after one year of employment at PCH.

Skills & Documentation Accurate and timely documentation of patient caseload activities.

Chart auditing.

Accurate billing.

Adherence to current policies, procedures, improvement initiatives, and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Audiology.

Audiology professional licensure.

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Pediatric experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements Ongoing need to see and read information, operate equipment, communicate verbally, manipulate delicate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments. Physical demands include bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment, as well as standing for extended periods.

Location & Hours Primary Children’s – Riverton, Utah; Primary Children’s Outpatient Clinic. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Hourly compensation: $43.09 – $66.47 (dependent on experience).
