Job DescriptionOur client is a growing boutique civil engineering firm located in Downtown Denver that provides civil engineering and land development services for a variety of projects throughout the Denver metro area.\n\nThey are looking to add a Land Development Engineer / EIT with 2+ years of experience to their team. This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants to get beyond simply producing plans and have a more meaningful role in the design, coordination, and delivery of projects.\n\nThe Opportunity\nIn this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers and project managers while taking increasing ownership of land development projects. The position offers strong technical exposure, direct involvement with clients and project teams, and a clear opportunity to grow toward project management responsibilities.\n\nCore Responsibilities:\n\n Design and develop civil engineering plans for land development projects\n Prepare site plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and construction documents\n Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design\n Develop plans and details using Civil 3D\n Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, municipalities, and other consultants\n Assist with permitting and agency coordination\n Support project planning, scheduling, and construction administration\n Review plans and documents for accuracy and quality\n Work closely with senior engineers and project managers while developing independent project ownership\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n 2+ years of civil engineering experience\n Background in land development, site development, or civil site design\n Experience with Civil 3D\n Understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and site design\n Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field\n EIT certification preferred\n Strong communication and organizational skills\n Desire to continue developing technically while taking on more responsibility\n\n\nWhy Consider It?\nThis is a particularly good fit for someone who wants the resources and project exposure of an established engineering practice without getting lost in a large corporate organization.\n\nYou'll have the opportunity to:\n\n Take meaningful ownership of projects earlier in your career\n Work directly with experienced engineers and project managers\n Develop both your technical and project-management skills\n Gain exposure to clients and the full project lifecycle\n Build toward a future Project Manager / Senior Engineer role\n Work from a Downtown Denver office in a more collaborative, boutique environment\n\n
