Woodgrain Inc. is headquartered in Fruitland, Idaho with six divisions and over 45 manufacturing and warehouse facilities in the United States and South America. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with an 1 hour lunch.
Transportation Fleet Compliance
Under direction of the Transportation division HR Manager, the HR Generalist will participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Assist in planning, developing and coordinating the implementation of training programs. Fulfill HR duties as assigned.
Driver Payroll and Resolution of payroll issues
- Recruiting, (Job posting, interview scheduling, onboarding new employees, hiring events etc.)
- Building and/or enhancing company culture,
- Assist in employee relations issues
- Counsel associates and managers concerning company policies and procedures
- Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts when needed, including updating job descriptions and job postings, screening candidates, interviewing, and on-boarding.
- Conduct New Hire Orientations and ensure all employment documents are current and complete.
- Coordinate and Participate in employee relations iniatives and events
- Annual Scholarship program
- HR Reporting for Transportation VP and HR Manager
- Interpret policies and procedures to employees and managers, guide staff in accordance with organizational policies.
- Promote HR programs, policies and procedures to create an efficient and inclusive workplace.
- Oversee accurate Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and compile reports. Conduct Internal HR audits (personnel files).
- Complete DOT previous employment verifications and safety performance history forms.
- Microsoft: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience with SuccessFactors, WorkForce, SAP, Applicant Tracking System a plus
- 2 to 3 years experience in a Human Resources position
