Radiology Tech Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas

Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner in surgery.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of AMA‑approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Two to five years’ experience specific to surgical radiological exam.

Demonstrates responsibility for the care and safety of patients and equipment use to minimize hazards.

Demonstrates ability to assess data, prioritize care, and plan interventions dependent on age group served.

Ability to utilize Electronic Healthcare Record for patient documentation.

The OR Radiology Technician operates X‑ray equipment, C‑ARMS and prepares patient’s room, equipment, and supplies.

Performs all quality control checks as prescribed.

Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.

Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation.

Practices surgical aseptic procedures.

Weekly, weekend, and holiday call required.
