Job Description: Site Supervisor - Food Services (Gig Opportunity)
Position Type: One-Day Gig with Opportunity for Ongoing Part-Time or Full-Time Work
Overview: We're seeking a dependable and motivated Site Supervisor for a one-day food service event, with the potential for future part-time or full-time opportunities. This gig involves providing on-site oversight and support for food service operations in a fast-paced environment such as a school, university, hospital, or commercial facility. You'll help guide the team, maintain high service standards, and ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the event.
This is an ideal role for someone with leadership experience in food service who's looking for flexible, short-term work - with the option to grow into a longer-term position.
Oversee and coordinate the daily tasks of food service workers during the event.
Support general food service operations including setup, serving, restocking, and cleanup.
Monitor work schedules and team performance to ensure efficient service.
Assist in training and guiding workers to follow safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.
Act as the on-site point of contact between workers and upper management.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and facility protocols.
High school diploma or GED required; food service or hospitality training is a plus.

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Temporary, one-day role with the chance to be considered for future shifts or permanent placement.
