Base pay: $45.00/hr - $47.00/hr.
Start Date: 12/15
Shifts: 1300-2100 and 1200-2030 rotating

Requirements:
DC License in hand
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Completion of at least one travel assignment
BLS Certification
Flu vaccine required
Experience:
Care and management of ports
Central Line/Implanted Line Care
Starting IVs
Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS)
Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage
Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression
Neutropenic precautions
Tracheostomy care/management
External Radiation therapy (Teletherapy)
Radiation safety precautions
Wound Care
Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea
Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy
Oncology experience is a plus
Preferred Skills: Radiation Oncology

Chart Preparation

Telephone triage
Primary Diagnoses: Primarily Cancer Patients
Special Procedure: Radiation Treatment Center
Responsibilities:
Provide care and support to patients undergoing radiation therapy
Education, skincare/wound care
Assessment of radiation toxicity and social needs
Consult with attending physician, resident, or emergency services as needed
Charting: Cerner
