Head of Communications PR and Media
Virtual Vocations Inc
To advance the mission and reputation of the university, the full-time Media and Communications Manager will develop and execute media strategies, coordinate media relations, and create compelling content for various audiences in a hybrid remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement media and communications strategies that align with the university's mission and strategic priorities
Serve as the primary liaison with public relations agencies, coordinating story development and media opportunities
Create and distribute press releases, feature stories, and other communications materials for internal and external audiences
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field
3-5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills with a focus on storytelling
Experience in coordinating media relations and working with external media partners
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
