HCC Coder - Medical Records Coding (REMOTE)

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support healthcare documentation needs, the remote Medical Coder will accurately code medical records and ensure compliance with industry regulations while working on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding

Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation as needed

Required qualifications

Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent)

Proven experience in medical coding within a healthcare setting

Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
