Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

Responsible for overall operations at an assigned plant including, but not limited to, supply management, production scheduling, manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, maintenance, people management, and implementation of change initiatives.

Manage effective health & safety and all related compliance, quality assurance standards and training and development of assigned staff.

Develop and manage the site operations budget.

Build a safety culture and drive the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work‑related injuries.

Set up a review process to analyze production, quality control, maintenance and operational data to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.

Conferring with managers to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and obtain necessary data on customer orders and delivery.

Plan, monitor and direct production and establish priorities, balancing effective customer service and cost factors and optimizing utilization of people and equipment within a just‑in‑time environment.

Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and safety.

Oversee the revision of product schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure or operating problems and consult with engineering on equipment modification and other continuous improvement efforts.

Supervise schedules and evaluate the work performance of direct and indirect reports.

Foster positive working relationships and respond proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints, concerns or problems, and other employee relations matters.

Ensure consistency in the application of company policies and procedures.

Partner with Regional Operations Leaders to manage the profitability for the plant and be an active champion of all quality and lean initiatives.

5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, materials management, logistics, and quality control.

5+ years of experience in safety and risk programs.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
