Shift:

9330 US HIGHWAY 301 S

10 or 12 hour shift shifts

• Weekends/Holidays will be call basis
• Assists with the orientation of new employees and assumes unit responsibility when delegated by the nursing manager or director.
• Performs specialized nursing care in all phases of the peri-operative role.
• Performs surgical counts per policy and prepares operating room setup. Recognizes abnormal diagnostic laboratory data, blood gas values, radiologic data, and knows the implied significance of each.
• Recognizes emergency situations and reacts efficiently and appropriately.
• Computer proficiency required.

Perioperative Nursing required. Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills required. Manual dexterity, lifting, pulling, pushing of equipment, heavy instrument sets, and patients required. Associate's of Nursing [Required] Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] Field of Study: ~ Nursing

Work Experience:
~1+ of general nursing experience in an acute care setting. [2+ of nursing experience in the required specialty [Preferred]
