About the Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified
Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity with a growing,
team-based primary care practice in Tacoma, Washington. This is an excellent
opportunity for a physician who values preventive medicine, relationship-based
care, and whole-person patient management.

Compensation: $100 Per Hour plus travel

Position Highlights

• 10–15 patients per day
• Extended appointment times of approximately 20–60

minutes

• Collaborative, team-based care model
• Dedicated clinical support team, including health

coaches

• Focus on preventive and value-based care
• No inpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine
care.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic
medical conditions.
Provide preventive care, screenings, and health
maintenance.
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on
whole-person care.
Manage chronic conditions and coordinate specialty
referrals when appropriate.
Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and
healthy lifestyle choices.
Work collaboratively with health coaches and other
members of the care team.
Complete accurate and timely electronic medical
documentation.
Apply appropriate medical coding and documentation
practices, including Medicare Advantage and HCC coding
Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
Board Certified through ABFM, ABIM, or AOA
Minimum 3 years of primary care experience
Current, unrestricted Washington medical license or
ability to obtain
Current DEA registration
Experience working in a team-based primary care
environment
EMR experience preferred
