Job Profile Mortgage Originator
Responsibilities Inside sales for the Consumer Direct department at Rate.
Provide impeccable follow up with borrowers that have applied for a home loan on rate.com or any one of our aggregate partners.
Maintain all company, state, and federal compliance standards.
Engage and excel in everyday sales activity that will contribute to a minimum standard of funded loans per month.
Promote the significant advantages of working with Rate.
Build rapport with clients to ensure we are identifying the best solution for the loan needs.
Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and granting loans.
Counsel on the home buying or refinance process, providing exceptional client service along the way.
Reply to potential inquiries from company-generated prospects.
Reach or exceed sales goals and objectives.
Operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
Skills and Competencies Effectively manage all leads through our Lead Management System.
Use state of the art technology to complete loan applications, run credit decisions, price loans in real-time, and continue to build and maintain client database.

Qualifications NMLS Licensed.
The ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities effectively.
Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software.
