Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry
Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele
Shift 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information 1900-0700
Can be called back up to 3a for Nights and up to 3p for Days
Weekend Rotation EOW
Holiday Requirements Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)

• Non-Teaching Hospital

Unit Details
Unit: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Fast-paced observation unit caring for patients with a variety of cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and medical-surgical diagnoses
Minimum 18 months of recent MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
Minimum 6 months of EPIC experience required
Active RN License
Medical-surgical nursing skills
Wound care and dressing changes
Care of patients with drains, tubes, and other medical devices
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios
RN: 1:5–6 (Days/Nights)
Unit Support
Charge Nurse (may carry an assignment)
Phlebotomy Team
Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
Hospitalist coverage on-site during days; virtual coverage nights
Intensivist available 24/7
Remote telemetry monitoring with Tele Tech support
Equipment & Technology

EMR: EPIC

Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Call & Holiday Requirements
May be called back up to 3:00 AM (night shift)
Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
Up to 6 days RTO may be approved (excluding holidays)
Additional time may be added to the contract if contracted hours cannot be met
Floating is required within Region 3 and within the RN's scope of practice. If floating occurs mid-shift, travelers remain on the clock and are paid for travel time between facilities.
