Job Description

• Assist the Dentist: Prepare patients for dental procedures, provide assistance during treatments (such as holding instruments, suctioning, and maintaining the sterile field), and ensure patient comfort.
• Take and Develop X-rays: Assist with diagnostic imaging, including taking dental X-rays and developing them for the dentist’s review.
• Prepare Treatment Rooms: Ensure all instruments, materials, and equipment are ready and sterilized before each procedure.
• Patient Care and Education: Explain treatment procedures to patients, provide post-treatment instructions, and educate them on proper oral hygiene.
• Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
• Maintain Patient Records: Assist with documenting patient information, treatments, and X-ray results accurately in the practice management system.
• Assist with Dental Procedures: Support the dentist during various procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and implants.
• Assist with Administrative Tasks: Schedule patient appointments, manage patient records, and assist with billing and insurance processing.
• Maintain Inventory: Monitor and reorder dental supplies and materials to ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols as outlined by the practice and regulatory bodies.
• Work as a Team: Collaborate effectively with the dentist, hygienists, and other team members to provide excellent patient care.

Tuesdays and Thursdays (10:30am - 7:30pm)
Mondays and Wednesdays (2:30am -7:30pm)
