At Rainbow Restoration, we invest in our employees through training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment where hard work and craftsmanship are recognized.Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience)With overtime opportunities and career advancement, motivated team members have the opportunity to significantly increase their annual earnings.Competitive PerksCompetitive Hourly Pay401(k) with Company Match50% of Medical Insurance Costs Covered by EmployerPaid Holidays & Paid Time OffCompany Vehicle During Working HoursProfessional Tools & EquipmentCareer Growth & Advancement OpportunitiesHands-On Training & Skill DevelopmentOvertime OpportunitiesSupportive Team-Oriented CulturePosition SummaryThe Repair Technician / Carpenter performs high-quality residential and commercial repairs following water, fire, smoke, mold, storm, and other property damage.This position works closely with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and fellow team members to restore homes and businesses to their pre-loss condition while delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and takes pride in producing quality work while maintaining a clean and professional job site.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform residential and commercial repair and reconstruction projectsComplete rough and finish carpentry, framing, trim installation, and finish workInstall doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, baseboards, crown molding, and other finish materialsInstall, repair, finish, and texture drywallPerform interior and exterior paintingInstall and repair flooring materialsComplete general punch-list items and warranty repairsReview scopes of work and complete repairs according to project specifications and schedulesMeasure work areas and determine required materials and suppliesCommunicate material needs, scope discrepancies, and project updates to the Project ManagerProtect customer property throughout the repair processMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesCoordinate effectively with subcontractors and other tradesIdentify additional damage or repairs and communicate findings before additional work is performedComplete daily job documentation, photographs, and time records using company softwareMaintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehiclesFollow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and PPE requirementsRepresent Rainbow Restoration professionally while delivering exceptional customer servicePerform additional duties as assigned to support restoration operationsRequirements & SkillsPrevious experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction, reconstruction, or insurance restoration preferredStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and job-site safetyAbility to perform rough and finish carpentry workAbility to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic construction calculationsAbility to interpret scopes of work, plans, and written instructionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanshipStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamComfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile documentation softwareDependable, punctual, professional, and customer-focusedValid Driver's License with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug screening and background checkAbility to lift and/or move up to 100 poundsComfortable working on ladders, in crawlspaces, attics, confined spaces, and varying environmental conditionsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in carpentry, remodeling, construction, property maintenance, or insurance restoration preferredEquivalent combinations of education, training, and practical experience will be consideredScheduleFull-TimeMonday-FridayOvertime available as business needs requireWhy Join Rainbow Restoration?At Rainbow Restoration, we believe our employees are our greatest asset.
