The Process Engineer position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and operational workflows, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness by analyzing design, and implementing improvements to production processes, focusing on safety, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. Assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Develop and implement process optimization strategies using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 5s
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations and safety, to resolve technical issues.
Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies and defects.
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain detailed records, including SOPs, process maps, and troubleshooting guides for consistent operations.
Provide technical guidance and training to operators and team members to enhance process understanding.

Work Experience: Entry Level to 2 years
Bachelor’s Degree in Process/Industrial Engineering or other Engineering field
Self-motivated and works well with or without supervision.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate testing instruments, tools, computers and various pieces of office equipment.
• Must have a good attendance record and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Personal computer skills required.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Proficiency in data analysis and technical software (Excel, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Process Simulation software).
• Experience developing, implementing, and sustaining new or improved manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
