We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team to assist with vendor life cycle, onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, relationship building and contract renewals. This position can be based in most US-based office locations.
Additional responsibilities include the following:

Work closely with the projects team to understand details of strategic procurement requirements including sourcing, pre-qualification, etc.
Initiate and renew contracts including framework agreements, service line agreements, etc., negotiate pricing, terms, and provisions
Engage, educate, and influence indirect and direct vendors to align to GHDs Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) commitments
Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners
Measure and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements, contracts, conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews and provide feedback to team on gaps, and business opportunities
Build industry, vendor, category, business unit, etc. specific reports, analyze data, and report on gaps and opportunities to the team including vendor segmentation
Assist in growing GHD's supplier diversity program
Perform all responsibilities within GHD Procurement Guidelines and ensure relevant processes and procedures are followed

What you'll bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of strategic procurement experience including data analysis, sourcing, vendor management, and contract management
• High proficiency with data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel (intermediate to expert)
• Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperation
• Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset

• Paid time off – Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation, sick, and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service
• Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee
• Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program. GHD will reimburse 50% of the cost of the following to maximum of $250.00 reimbursement annually for such items as: Health club membership fees, home exercise equipment purchases, Bicycles, Race, run & marathon entrance fees, Smoking cessation programs, Weight loss programs (i.e.—Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig), Fitbits and Fitness Tracking devices

Salary Range: $26.00 - $35.00 based on experience and location.
