Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionA leading Statesboro commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team. This is an opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial projects while working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors and field teams from early planning through final closeout.The company delivers design-build projects across a wide range of markets, including education, municipal, hospitality, restaurants, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, recreation and commercial renovations.What You'll DoAs Project Manager, you'll take ownership of your projects and serve as a key point of communication between the client, design team, field leadership and subcontractor partners.Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules and overall project controlsCoordinate subcontractor buyout, contracts and procurementManage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentationWork closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality and jobsite progressReview drawings, specifications and project requirementsLead owner, architect and subcontractor meetingsTrack project costs, forecasts and financial performanceIdentify potential issues early and develop practical solutionsMaintain strong communication with clients throughout the projectCoordinate permitting, inspections and project closeoutEnsure commitments are followed through from initial planning to final handoffWhat We're Looking ForCommercial construction Project Management experience with a General ContractorExperience managing projects through multiple phases of constructionStrong understanding of budgets, schedules, subcontractor management and project documentationAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accountabilityExperience working directly with owners, architects and field teamsDesign-build and preconstruction experience is a plusExperience across education, municipal, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, multifamily or similar commercial projects is beneficialThis is a strong fit for a Project Manager who wants more than simply managing paperwork and schedules.
