RN Needed for Weekend Shifts

Med/Surg RN – Adult/Geriatric
Schedule
Weekend coverage required.
Assignment Details
Patient census: approximately 20; beds: 20; 5:1 patient ratio.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years acute hospital nursing experience.
Prior travel experience required.
Current NY RN license required at submission.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Clinical skills: IV starts, PICC/central line care, blood draws, wound care, insulin/heparin administration, feeding tube care, colostomy/ileostomy care, blood product administration, infection precautions.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to provide quality care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Compliance / Notes
Pre-approved time off and modules required prior to start will be communicated during the onboarding process.
