As a Line Cook in the accommodation and food services industry, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our establishment's standards and delight our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and uphold strict hygiene and safety standards. This role demands adaptability to a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence. High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment or supplies.

Culinary school certification or formal culinary training.

Experience with various cooking techniques and cuisines.

Familiarity with kitchen equipment and inventory management.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations and equipment.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours.

Monitor food quality and portion sizes to minimize waste and ensure consistency.

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

The required skills such as food preparation, time management, and adherence to safety standards are essential for daily kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and safely. Preferred skills like culinary techniques and equipment knowledge enhance the ability to contribute creatively and troubleshoot kitchen challenges. Effective communication and teamwork skills facilitate smooth coordination with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
