12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week. Weekend schedule consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks available. Highlights:

• High-acuity cardiac and stroke telemetry unit with fast-paced environment turning over 78-90 patients weekly- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6, with ability to manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone- Patient population includes pre/post cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implantation, CVA/TIA, CHF, dysrhythmias, and stable interventional procedures- Epic (Dimensions) charting system with Pyxis medication management- Self-scheduling with leadership oversight; 36-hour orientation provided during first week- Call and float requirements based on patient census and unit needs Requirements:
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience in a high-acuity environment- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Experience with cardiac drip titration, pre/post procedure care, and PCI patients- Ability to manage 6-patient assignments during surge situations- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)- Ability to complete 8-10 hours of pre-start online modules Why It's a Great Opportunity:
