Job Description A full-time Pharmacy Supervisor opportunity is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy environment located in Bakersfield, CA. This onsite role involves leading a skilled team of pharmacists who produce high-quality compounded preparations tailored for veterinary use. The ideal candidate will have a strong management background and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality goals.

Oversee daily compounding pharmacy operations and workflow.

Ensure compliance with USP , , , State Board regulations, and 503A requirements.

Maintain accurate training records and enforce proper compounding procedures.

Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounded products.

Identify areas for process or formulation improvements to enhance operations.

Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teams.

Uphold confidentiality and comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited pharmacy school.
• Minimum 2 years managing pharmacy staff in a lab setting.
• 2–5 years of compounding pharmacy experience.
• Strong working knowledge of USP standards, state regulations, and 503A guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Location: Bakersfield, California

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM

Compensation: $160,000–$185,000 base salary plus bonus, commensurate with experience
