Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services is seeking multiple Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to support the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility in Chinle, Arizona. • 1099 Government Contractor position
• Long‑term contract up to 1 year with extension options
• 13‑hour shifts
• Full‑time and part‑time opportunities
• Day, Night and Mid shifts available
• Emergency Room experience as an MD Required
• Critical Access hospital
• IHS facility
• Previous Locum Tenens experience preferred
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine needed
• Adult and Pediatric patients
• Flexible scheduling options

Opportunity to serve within the Indian Health Service (IHS) system
Experience in a diverse, high‑acuity Emergency Department
Provide emergency medical care to patients with acute illness or injury
Stabilize critically ill or injured patients using emergency procedures
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Follow all facility policies and regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Indian Preference Exercised
Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma follows an Indian Preference Policy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
S. citizen residing primarily in the United States
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred)
Valid medical license from any U.Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
Current DEA registration
Prior locum tenens and/or IHS experience preferred
